Absentee Bid form

Form for Absentee Bids

If you are unable to attend an auction in person, and wish to place bids, you may give Hondius Book and Print Auctions instructions to bid on your behalf. Our representatives will then try to purchase the lot(s) of your choice for the lowest price possible, and never for more than the maximum amount you indicate.

Be sure to accurately record lot numbers, descriptions and the top price you are willing to pay for each lot. "Buy" or unlimited bids will not be accepted. Always indicate a "top limit" - the amount to which you would bid if you were attending the auction in person.

Please note that there is 25% BUYER'S PREMIUMS added to the hammer price as part of the total purchase price.

Each bid is PER LOT, as indicated, and all bids will be executed and accepted subject to the 'Terms & Conditions' as printed in the sales catalogue.

Successful bidders will be notified and invoiced as soon as possible after the sale.
